MG! What is your profession?!I wonder what the answer to that will be. Dota? Sampah?
Anyway, there was a big hype on about the show 300. Suddenly everyone's msn nick had something to do with spartans and facebook groups were springing up one by one. So, we decided to take a dayoff from studying and watch this show.
Turns out, not quite up to what i expected la.... No offence to the director, but you know he has failed his duty when a narator has to tell why the actor is doing wat he's doing. The storyline was rather bad, cutscenes were just horrible and historical facts were very inaccurate. The movie was just to put in as much gory and head chopping scenes as possible. Even the sexscene in the movie was like so random, but i guess some of you guys have no idea what i'm talking about as it would've been censored in malaysia. Overall i think it wasnt a very good show and i would actually only give it a 2.5 / 5
Oh yeah, just so you know, the phalanx formation is a formation where the soldiers would lock shields together one on top of the other and point their long spears out to create and impenetrable wall of shields and spears. The strength of the formation comes from the discipline of the soldiers in front to hold out against the enemy and from the courage of the troops at the back to push forward. Noone would actually break the formation midway through battle for it would defeat the whole purpose. And the persian army didnt take 1 whole year to travel from the battlefield to Greece. That's just plain dumb!
Ok ok, enough of the geeky history talk. I'm probably boring you guys out. Anyway, i was flipping through my old exercises and i came upon this question which i did last year. Try and solve it, first to give a correct answer gets a reward.
Eddie and his wife goes to a party in which there are 4 other couples. Some people from the group know each other and others have never met. People who meet for the first time are introduced and shake hands. Noone shakes hands with his/her own partner (like DUH!!) and noone shakes hands more than once with the same person. At the end of the party, Eddie asks the nine others how many they had shaken hands with. To his surprise, all answers are different. How many people shook hands with his wife?!
