once a boy, once a teenager nurturing...
when we were young, similar as jia pin we fancied stuff like spiderman. super heroes always catches the attention of the young. these are fascinations that are enjoyed by non-deprived children. such thoughts begin to diminish as we gradually grow up, looking more towards the distant future. as we all know, our parents tend to inject phrases such as, "when you grow up, aim to become a doctor or a lawyer". i guess this phrase just seems to be a trademark sentence that has been passed down for quite sometime. since i was probably 10 years old, i always wanted to be a pilot. imagining the ease and freedom pilots go through like a bird's migration i could not stop desiring to become one in the near future. at one point i wanted to do engineering as i thought of it as a 'guy thing'. i also considered doing business. however my dad told me not to do business not strictly, but in a quite discouraging manner. i guess it is just something ironic that certain parents do not want their children to follow their footsteps. after schooling, i changed my mind once again setting myself adamant to venture in health sciences. as a matter of fact i only opened myself to two options which was medicine or pharmacy. based on clinical attachments and interaction with doctors, it seems like medicine requires loads of dedication, commitment and time. therefore, i took up my second choice, "pharming" after all these changing of interest and ambitions... did i make a right choice after all???

Spiderman Poster
I want a spiderman poster. My room would look nice with a spiderman poster. There was the spiderman 3 premiere at leicester square, they were hanging spiderman posters everywhere. The spiderman poster looks very cool and nice. I wanted to take a spiderman poster but everyone had their hands on a spiderman poster. I couldnt find any free spiderman poster to take. If only i was earlier, then i would have a spiderman poster. I went to the busstop and there was this guy standing there with 2 spiderman posters. I tried to steal a spiderman poster from him, but he caught me and said " Hey! thats my spiderman poster! Get your own spiderman poster!" And now im back in my room which doesnt have a spiderman poster and im blogging about spiderman poster.
Sigh* i wish i have a spiderman poster. My room would look nicer with a spiderman poster. I would have more inspiration to study if i have a spiderman poster. Life would be better if i have a spiderman poster.

When i was young.....
.. i wanted to be spiderman! No kidding! Spiderman was like my favourite childhood superhero and when i was like 8 or 9 we had to write an essay about our ambitions and i wrote that when i grew up, i wanted to get bitten by a radioactive spider and become just like spiderman!! The teacher of course was not very impressed and gave me a "C". I mean come on, being like spiderman is a breat ambition isnt it?! "With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility!" afterall.
Oh and speaking of which, the new spiderman is coming out next month! Wheee...... Stim man, but then i will be having my finals during that time. BOO0000 =( I heard that there was going to be a 4-way showdown as the finale between spiderman, sand...... OK, lets not spoil the surprise shall we!

Anyway, back to the topic. My teacher totally killed my ambition with mean words like "unrealistic" and "grow up" , how mean!
OK, so fastforward a little bit, i remember in high school we had this week of PMD which stands for program maju diri or something like dat where we had to do dumb stuff and write down our goals and ambitions in life. But we get the whole week off so whos complaining.
So when i was in form 1, my ambition was to be a soldier! Hahaha...... So not me?!?! I mean being a soldier cool also wat rite, get to hold gun and drive tank. OK OK, what the hell was i thinking rite....
Then when i was in form 2, i wanted to be a famous actor!! Another big WTF..... Hahaha ok actually i know a lot of u guys out there have this kind of ambition also, just duwan admit only!!
In form 3, i wanted to be a doctor. o.0 Again, that is so not me!! I mean can you seriously imagine me wearing all the tunis and masks working in a hospital.
Then in form 4, i wanted to be an architect. (cause it sounded real cool) Thankfully i didnt take up architorture*inside joke* as a degree.
And finally in form 5, i wanted to be an engineer! I mean engineering is like the typical guys course wat rite.
OK, so as you can see, that was my list of everchanging ambitions since form 1 to 5 and if you noticed there is no economist on the list! I mean which young kid or even student would ever dream of becoming an economist. That would just be weird!

So why economics?! Actually i also dont know. I've never done economics in my life before and it was like a blind leap into it. What am i gonna work as after i graduate?! Again no idea, i will take what comes my way i guess....
But i am having fun and enjoying my course, and thats all that matters rite..... no regrets here. Except i really hate stats and abs math! Exams are in a months time and i am so unprepared! Wish me luck...

Hunting for Dragons
1 year ago i watched a documentary about dragons on the discovery channel..... NO, im not kidding you, real-life DRAGON, well, as alive as dinosaurs are la at least. And they said this scientist actually found the skeleton of a dragon in some Norwegien country and brought the remains back to the natural history museum in London. They even gave a long theoretical explanation on how dragons digest and break down their food and get Hydrogen which they store up in some glends near the lungs. This explains the flying although the wingspan is too small for their heavy bodies and explains the fire-breathing!

So, 1 year later, Ashley, Heng Joon and i decided to go on our dragon hunt. Of course they didnt know the real reason i was going to the museum, they probably think i'm crazy if i told them ( Well, i guess they think im crazy now).

Anyway, there are loads of cool stuff in here. There was even a bigass dinosaur at the door to greet you.

Ok, it had a really long neck so i couldnt fit it in.

I was so impressed with all the dinosaurs that i just started taking pics and came home to realise i cant remember any of the names. So i guess i shall just name them myself lar...
This are the small dinosaurs.... Theya re damn cute

This is a dumb dinosaur....the head is dman small wei.... smaller than my thumb even

This is a triceratops. hehe.....i still can remember this one...

The thumbs-up dinosaur..... i think its called iguanosaurus or something like that!

Cute little dinosaur hatching from eggs.

A real Bone head! The skull is 18cm thick..... GG! Damn.... materazzi wud be dead if he got head-butted by this.

And of course the king of all! The T-REX

Well.... after the dinosaurs, there was like another era and another load of weird creatures. Still no dragon yet though! Hmm... maybe they are more modern than dinosaurs cause knights fought with them, so following chronological order they would be in the back part of the museum.
Damn.... all these creatures sure were horny!

Joon wants to be horny as well!!

Ok, well after that we even got to see the skull of a cyclops!

Well. its actually the skull of some close relative of elephants, people mistook it for being that of a cyclops because it is roughly the same size as a human skull.

The queen snaker !

Well..... after that it was about the earth's history and rocks and all that kinds stuff la! Dammit... where are the dragons!!! nvm nvm, maybe they keep the best for last!

000ooo00hhh.... so hot

And finally, after 3 hours of natural history...... We reach the last part of the museum.... The part i was so looking forward to and the main reason i wanted to come here anyway!
After 3 treacherous hours of staring at bones and rocks and and models of weird looking animals.
Finally after all that anticipation, we reached ..................

........the exit of the museum. WTF....... Where is my dragon ?!?!

Kena con wei ! Well, i guess you cant always believe everything you see on on tv, even though its on the discovery channel! Jim, dont believe discovery channel so much already wei... kena con only !
